Summer is quickly approaching!
March 25th, 2010Ahoy, mates! It's been a long time since my last post...too much rum? Perhaps. But an even bigger reason is because the Captain has been incredibly busy lately.
As the weather starts to clear, and sunny days are on the horizon, things start to pick up around here. If you're thinking of having the Captain at your event, NOW is the time to contact us. Bookings are already starting to come in for events this fall, so don't let your opportunity to slip by to have Jack at your event.
If you're looking for something involving more than just Jack, I suggest you check out our mates at The 3 Privateers. This trio of pirates would be happy to pillage and plunder your event. Good times are sure to be had when Captain Copper, Mr. Hawser and Black Bart invade. You can find more information at their website:
I promise to provide more updates...and you can always trust a pirate. Honest!
Safe Sailing!

Halloween Roundup - 2009
November 1st, 2009Wow...what a great Halloween this year!
I'd like to thank Emily with the Milwaukee County Zoo for bringing the Captain aboard for their Boo at the Zoo and Trick or Treat Spooktacular events. The MCZ did an amazing job, and put together one of the best backdrops for the Captain...ever! Huzzah to her and the staff! ![]()
I would also like to thank everyone that stopped by over the last 2 weeks to meet with the Captain, Mrs. Elizabeth and Bella. We were touched by all of the positive comments and emails that were given to us. It seems that the event was a great success, and we're hoping to be invited back again next year. As always, if you have any pictures that you took of the Captain at these events, please email them to Captain@JackSparrowLive.com and we'll add them to our photo gallery.
We would also like to thank the staff at the Mukwonago Jack-O-Lantern Jaunt. They were a great group of people to work with, and all of the money they raise is dontated to charity. Our hats off to them as well!
Right now, there aren't any public events that the Captain will be sailing into. He is always willing to come ashore at your private events, so please feel free to contact us for more information.

'Tis a Season of Change!
September 25th, 2009Ahoy, mates! The leaves on the trees tell the ole Captain that fall is upon us, which means a busy time of year! The Captain tends to be booked solid during the fall months, as many people and orginizations have Halloween events. I'll be appearing all over, so feel free to stop by and say "Ahoy!" Speaking of which, you may have noticed that I removed the "calendar" section from the website. Seeing as it was a pain to manage, and I also didn't want to discourage anyone from trying to book a date that may have other events on it...I scrapped it. Sent it straight to Davy Jones' locker.
There will now be a new feature on the website, which will show where the Captain is appearing at public events. If you see one near you, feel free to stop by, grab a photo and maybe some free treasure! I hope everyone had an enjoyable summer pillaging and plunderin'! Take care mates, and I'll see you on the high seas!
Safe Sailing!

Bastille Days!
June 24th, 2009I hope everyone is enjoying this great weather we've been having lately. Yes, it has been a bit on the hot side, but I'll take heat over snow any day!
Thanks again to the National Mississippi River Museum. We had a great weekend, and I hope that their Pirate Festival becomes an annual event. It was a pleasure meeting and greeting all of you. Countless pictures were taken, treasure was given away and the Captain's crew grew considerably.
The next major, public, event is Bastille Days in Milwaukee. The Captain won't be there, but his long lost French pirate "cousin" will be.
He'll be part of a crew and a French Captain...causing all kinds of grief to the patrons of the festival. Please check the calendar for event dates and times.

Pirate Festival at National Mississippi River Museum
June 13th, 2009Ahoy mates! Just a quick update.
First of all, I'd like to remind everyone that the Captain will be appearing at the Pirate Festival at the National Mississippi River Museum June 20-21, 2009. Please stop by and say "Hi". It looks like there is going to be a lot of things to do, so it will be worth the ride! For more information, please check out the museum's website at www.rivermuseum.com .
Also, I want to thank everyone for coming out to the Port Washington Pirate Festival this past weekend. The weather held out (only 1 shower), and the crowds seemed to be having a great time. To those of you that visited the Captain at the photo booth on Sunday...THANK YOU! We had a non-stop line for 4 hours! It was our pleasure to take pictures and sign autographs for all of you.

Some Random Updates
February 26th, 2009Ahoy everyone!
Yes, it's been a bit since the Captain has posted, but I just wanted to pop in and give you a few updates.
First, you may have noticed the new look to the website. There are still a few bugs to be worked out, but it is basically complete. Let me know if you have any suggestions, or you come across any errors.
Second, the new advertisements are finally out! If you would like to see the Captain in the new ad, please click on http://pinellascvb.com/files/StP_MasterAds_2-2.pdf to see all of the "Ambassador Ads". The Captain is the second ad in the group.

This is a great time of year to have the Captain at your party or event. Traditionally, the winter months are a bit slower, so it is usually easier to get a booking in. Spots are already filling up for the summer months, so I would suggest that you contact us if you are even thinking about having the Captain at your event. We can then put a hold on you spot...for free!
Thanks for stopping by, and Safe Sailing!

You Should Be In Pictures....Part 3
November 24th, 2008Well mates, the Captain has survived his whirlwind trip to Florida. So, how did things go?? Well...
Leave for Florida 6:00am.
Arrive in Florida 1:30pm.
Go directly to beach, do not pass GO, do not collect $200.
Change in RV.
Wait.
Walk to beach...avoid huge crowds that have formed. Get videotaped and photographed by people that had been waiting around the photoshoot area.
Stand on beach and strike poses in the waters edge for 2+hours.
300 photos!
Walk to RV and change.
Get dropped off at hotel at 6:00pm
Dinner at 7:00pm
Sleep at 10:00pm
Wake at 4:00am
Go home at 5:30am.
Was it worth it? Yes! After seeing a few of the shots (as everything is digital, and they have a really neat system), it wasn't even a question if it was worth it. I would do it again in a heartbeat. When I get my hands on some of the ads, I'll make sure to post them in the gallery.
Cheers!
You Should Be In Pictures....Part 2
November 6th, 2008Just a quick update....I'm heading to Florida! That's right, the ad agency and the advertiser are flying the ole Captain in for 1-2 days of shooting on the beach. I'm also told I'll be with some celebrities as well.
More details to follow.
Website Update
October 30th, 2008Jack Sparrow Live! is undergoing a major overhaul...again. ![]()
The entire site is going to have a completely different layout and look. It should be a bit easier to navigate and have a consistant Jack Sparrow theme. Keep a weathered eye on the horizon, and let me know what you think of the new look.
